Recycling Guide

Often we find ourselves stuck when it comes to recycling certain materials. We just don't know if it can be recycled. Libby Watts, a local Waste Management Professional, has prepared a detailed guide on what can be recycled where, initially for members of the Facebook Group North Somerset Reduce, Reuse & Recycle. Libby has given us permission to re-issue it in PDF format.

Climate Emergency CO2 Facts

In 1970, CO2 concentrations were 320 ppm; in 2014, CO2 concentrations crossed 400 ppm in the atmosphere for the first time in at least 2.5 million years. On 12th February 2019, it was 414 ppm. This rate of increase means we are on track for a 3 to 4 deg. average global temperature rise by the end of the century, which would make large parts of the planet uninhabitable.
