Belmont Re-wilding Tour

Thursday 23rd September: 10am - 12 noon

Belmont Estate (at Wraxall) are looking at how changes in land management can deliver a vast range of benefits including biodiversity restoration, flood mitigation, air and water quality, and accessible-nature based education. You can read more about the Belmont Estate here.

 

Organised by Cllr Bridget Petty, Green Party Councillor for Backwell and Executive Member for Climate Emergency and Engagement. This event is organised as a part of the Great Big Green Week celebration.

The destination is Watercress Farm – Belmont Estate’ brand new rewilding site on the other side of the Bristol Road from the formal estate.

The walk will be led by Belmont Estate Manager Gil Martin. Lasting between 90 and 120 mins you will cross fields and uneven ground and walk along a section of the Land Yeo river. You will encounter livestock so dogs are not permitted.
